Friend stole something

Hey there. My friend stole something from the Warehouse, while I was with him. I didn't know until we were walking out (didn't pay for it), and the security guard came up to us and took us to the spot to record our names. Can I get in trouble for this, as I did nothing wrong? The cops were called and they're ringing my parents. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
