Where do I find some help for my 15 yr old that i believe is a kleptomaina? She continues to get caught shoplifing even when she has the money on her persons. I have been rung by the police approx 5 times in the last 3 yrs because of this. I feel the need to keep her home 24/7 but this is impossible. I am about to lose my cool and hit her which would be a bad idea as I myself am a Youth worker. Someone help me!!! Do you find this valuable?

Have you discussed this with your daughter? We would suggest you to take your daughter to a doctor to get her assessed who may be able to refer her to a specialist who might help.
You may know of some good family support services that could help you in your local area, or alternatively perhaps someone like Youthline might also have some suggestions. Do you find this valuable?
