foster care is also when the child is taken from the parents by the police and a case worker. they are taken because of things that go on in the home such as abuse and neglect. the parents cant get their children back untill they have followed and completed the plan given to them from the judge. they are usually given 90 days to do so. 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?
