Location: Can I wear a piercing at school?

i sort of disagree with schools that won't allow any piercings, or very little. i understand if they are kind of out there, but having your nose pierced isn't hurting anyone. i am currently fifteen and i have my nose pierced and 8 piercings on my ears. i am a straight A student that is in all advanced classes. what's wrong with having piercings??? Oh, and i am in my schools JROTC program :) Do you find this valuable?

clearly peircings do not affect your abilty to learn. Schools often use health and safety as an issue, getting your piercing ripped out during sport etc. My guess is that in a few years multiple piercings will not be an issue and there will be something else schools want to ban. Do you find this valuable?
