Where it has not been possible to reach agreement at a family group conference and the Family Court has been asked to make court orders, a mediation conference can be held as a further attempt to work out an arrangement that make sure you are safe and well cared for. You can ask the Court to hold a mediation conference if you want one.[15]

You and your lawyer are entitled to be at any mediation conference and your views must be listened to and taken into account before any agreement is reached.[16]
