What are “special educational needs”?This is a featured page

The New Zealand Court of Appeal says there is a difference between having “special educational needs” and receiving “special education”[4]. Even if the Ministry decides you don’t need extra funding to receive special education, you may still have special educational needs, which your school must pay for out of its special education grant money or from other sources.
