The Police searched me and found drugs. What should I do?This is a featured page

Don't panic. You do not have to go with the Police unless you have been arrested. If arrested, you will be taken by the officer to the Police station where you should phone your parents or some other adult whom you trust as soon as possible. Tell them what has happened and ask them to come as soon as they can. You do not have to say anything other than your name, date of birth and address. It is usually better to ask to speak to a free lawyer. Never attempt to resist being arrested, try to hit the Police officer or run away, because this will only make matters worse for you.
