Terms of Engagement
When you call our Advice Line service, you will know it is always operated by a qualified lawyer.
From time to time you may speak to a law student or graduate; however, they always work under supervision.
We also provide legal advice in accordance with our Code of Ethics, which is available here.
Also, rest assured that all information you provide is confidential, though it may be discussed with other staff at YouthLaw e.g. another lawyer.
If we agree to do any ongoing work for you such as drafting documents or representation, it will be subject to a formal process of engagement.
In short, you will be getting quality legal advice from our Advice Line Service.
