Once I've got my birth mother or father's name, how can I find out where they are now?This is a featured page

There are two main ways of going about this:

1. Go to a birth parents' support group. They will help you to find out where your parents are. This information will be
held at your nearest Citizens Advice Bureau.

2. Ask the Adoption Information Unit at the Department of Child, Youth and Family Services, they may be able to give
you information from their files.
