FURTHER HELP
The Employment Relations Service (Infoline 0800 800 863).
A free service provided by the Department of Labour. Their role is to administer various laws regarding employment rights and obligations, employment contracts and the general relationship between employers and employees. They provide information for employers, employees and those entering the workforce about minimum entitlements under the law, (eg holiday pay, public holidays) and options for resolving disputes at work. They can provide you with pamphlets, booklets and written information about most aspects of employment.
The service also explains the procedures that employers and employees may follow through the Employment Relations Authority, the Employment Court and the Labour Inspectorate.
