Follow the instructions on the back of the ticket. If you don't understand the instructions contact the office or person named on the ticket. If you have lost the ticket, look up the phone number or address of the Authority (e.g. Auckland City Council or the Police) that you think issued it.

Contact them and ask them to send you another copy. If you speak to someone on the phone, write down the person’s name and the date you made the call. It is important to make contact as soon as possible as it may take a while to sort the situation out.
