Every child or young person under the age of 16 years must be enrolled at a school and attend school regularly. Unless your caregivers are in the area where you lived before coming into care, you will be enrolled in a new school near where your caregivers live. Child Youth and Family will pay for your school books, art, craft and technology materials, sports equipment, class activities, school field trips and examination fees.[76] Child, Youth and Family will not usually pay for school social activities or overseas trips.

Can I travel overseas with my caregivers or can I go on a school trip?
