Do I get pocket money?

Child, Youth and Family pay your foster parents an additional weekly sum to be given to you as pocket money. If you want to check the rate, you can ask your foster parents, social worker or youth advocate/lawyer.

Your caregivers may encourage you to save part of your pocket money each week but they cannot force you to do so. They cannot permanently withhold your pocket money although they may delay payment for a few days until your behaviour improves or you do your chores.[72].
