I suggest you give us a call Once you are both 16 years old, you can live together without breaking the criminal law.
Child, Youth and Family Services may become involved if either partner is under 17 years, and it was believed that his or her emotional or physical well-being was at risk.
Parents/ caregivers could also try to get their son or daughter placed under the guardianship of the Court if he or she is unmarried and under 18 years. However, the Court will not direct a 16 year old to live with someone except in exceptional (serious) situations. (s14 Children, Young Persons and their Families Act 1989; s34 Care of Children Act 2004)
