Can I take my medication at school? This is a featured page

The law is not clear on whether your school can refuse to give you medication that you need during the school day. Some lawyers say that it “discriminates against you” (is unfair) for a school to refuse to administer medication that you need at school[11]. Other lawyers say giving out medication is not part of a teacher’s job. Your caregivers should ask what the school’s policy is when you enrol. Your school can put in place guidelines about how medication is to be stored and given out.
